Great marina! Full service, convenient fuel dock and a fully stocked store for just about all of your boating needs. Locker rooms and facilities are the nicest around and always kept clean and ready to use. Staff is always friendly and ready to help.
Brought my boat here from sc. Really like this marina, staff very nice. Fuel available 24 hrs a day. Clean restrooms, bait right on sight, and easy access to the bay and Stewart's restaurant. Going to store boat over winter here too.
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about SCM. Let's start with Anthony. We are boating rookies and he had no issues at all showing us around the Barletta pontoons. He gave us a soup to nuts tour and answered every question we had. His boat knowledge is through the roof. Then there's Mark, Joe, and Captain Dave. People are nice, docks are floating, bathrooms with showers and air conditioning. We are considering putting our boat there the only issue is that there are areas with very low water, but it seems that NJ has many areas like that.
It was such a pleasure working with Dan on my water in the fuel (purchased elsewhere) situation. He was prompt, courteous and most importantly, really cared about my boat and getting it back on the water asap. Sheltered Cove and Dan have my highest regard. True customer service hard to find…. But they have it at Sheltered Cove.

Bought a boat at the AC Boat Show. All the way through the process everyone at Sheltered Cove was friendly and helpful. They made the entire experience a breeze. Dave, our orientation specialist, did a great job walking us through everything and taking us out for our initial run. After our orientation, our new boat was promptly delivered to our marina. We were able to get out on it 2x in the first 4 days and love our decision so far. I would recommend Sheltered Cove and they’re boats to anyone shopping along the Jersey coast.

I have purchased 3 boats from sheltered cove marina over the past 12 years. Two new, and one used. (they also handled the sale of the trade ins) I also moored my boat at the marina (again the 1st boat) for over 5 years. I have owned other boats, and stayed at several different marinas. Sheltered Cove is an excellent location for being inside, and also decent access to ocean (about 15 min. run) The marina is family owned and operated. I was always treated fair and honestly. It is expensive to own a boat, (why my current boat is on a trailer) but with the internet, the price is the price. If you are buying a boat, (or selling) they will handle the whole deal. I will use them again.

Work was done on time and at a great price. The detail that Sheltered Cove did was AMAZING. My light blue hull was actually dark blue. Absolutely amazing work. The bottom paint was neat and straight. I can't say enough about Sheltered Cove.

Just took delivery of this new 2023 Barletta. Sheltered Cove was great to work with. The friendliest and nicest staff and sales personnel. They even gave us an orientation on all the workings of this boat and then delivered the boat to us about 50 miles south of them immediately following the orientation. This is my first experience with Sheltered Cove Marina. From initial negotiations with Mark at the AC boat show to working with Ken throughout my boat delivery process, it has been overwhelmingly positive. It's clear that Sheltered Cove cares about making long lasting customer relationships. Ken acted promptly for all "issues" that may have occurred during the process and made sure I was satisfied with the resolution. I would definitely recommend them to others and took a bunch of Ken's business cards so I can hand them out at the sandbars. If we ever encounter any warranty issues in the future I have high expectations for how those will be handled.

Last week I picked up my brand new Sylvan tri-toon boat. I purchased the boat at the Atlantic City boat show this year. Booked my appointment and arrived at the Marina. Met with Dave and he went over all the paperwork and materials for the boat including titles and registration. From there we went out for a full tutorial of the boat and took it out for a run. Boat was clean and fully ready to go. The guys in the yard were awesome. Put the boat on the trailer and got us fully ready to trailer it back home. The Marina gave us a great discount to get some needed supplies for the boat. Looking forward to a great boating season and being a long term customer of Shelter Cove

Thanks to the whole crew for preparing our boat so well and for the thorough run through of all the functions. Although the weather wasn’t good enough to take her out on day 1, I really appreciated the time Mark took to take the boat out with us on the next day. The communication regarding the sale was very thorough and on point from finance to bottom paint to applying the name to our boat and to get it in the water. I knew through out the process what was happening at all times.
