Absolutely amazing experience working with these guys and gals! Appreciate the effort they put into delivering a quality boat! From the purchase, sea trial, delivery, etc. It was easy and the whole team did a great job! Can’t wait to spend the summer out on the water.
I purchased a used Sea Ray SDX 270 From Sheltered Cove Marina last fall. I worked with Ken Sauer as my salesman. I found him and their operation to be very honest. They delivered the boat on the exact day I requested. I highly recommend them!
Just picked up my new regal LX4 from Ken Sauer. All I can say is wow! From start to finish the experience was truly amazing. This marina truly understands the definition of customer service. Thank you Joe Cannon SR and JR, thank you Mark the owner who really made my buying and orientation process easy! Can't wait to create long last memories with my family thanks to sheltered cove!!! If you are in the market for a new boat call these guy!
Had a very good experience purchasing a new boat from Sheltered Cove Marina. The staff was awesome and even hooked me up with Joe who is the service manager but also worked with me to get the boat lettered prior to pickup. It’s nice he is in house to take care of it and had some very creative ideas for the name. It came out great!! If you are in the market for a new boat I would go here 1st. Great team and pricing. I took delivery a few days ago and sending me on my way with an in house Captain was fantastic. Made the 1 hr trip to my marina seamless. He was very knowledgeable on the water and with the boat.
Ken at Sheltered Cove Marina is AWESOME! If you are in the market for a new or used boat, give him a call. He is genuine and honest and makes buying a boat easy! I will definitely be back!
Wonderful customer service, very clean. Can’t wait for the season to start. Thank you Sheltered Cove, you ROCK!
Ken in sales was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I traveled from Northern Virginia to buy a boat from this company and feel the trip was worthwhile.
Great marina! Full service, convenient fuel dock and a fully stocked store for just about all of your boating needs. Locker rooms and facilities are the nicest around and always kept clean and ready to use. Staff is always friendly and ready to help.
Brought my boat here from sc. Really like this marina, staff very nice. Fuel available 24 hrs a day. Clean restrooms, bait right on sight, and easy access to the bay and Stewart's restaurant. Going to store boat over winter here too.
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about SCM. Let's start with Anthony. We are boating rookies and he had no issues at all showing us around the Barletta pontoons. He gave us a soup to nuts tour and answered every question we had. His boat knowledge is through the roof. Then there's Mark, Joe, and Captain Dave. The level of constant communication and updates on everything from detailing to delivery of the boat was phenomenal. Thank you all so much for making this a great experience for us first time purchasers!!
Appreciate all the work the team at Sheltered Cove did to get me in the water on my most recent boat purchase. This is my third boat purchased from Sheltered Cove and I keep going back because of the team and support. They take care of everything I need and appreciate the all around continued service and excellence!
People are nice, docks are floating, bathrooms with showers and air conditioning. We are considering putting our boat there the only issue is that there are areas with very low water, but it seems that NJ has many areas like that.
It was such a pleasure working with Dan on my water in the fuel (purchased elsewhere) situation. He was prompt, courteous and most importantly, really cared about my boat and getting it back on the water asap. Sheltered Cove and Dan have my highest regard. True customer service hard to find…. But they have it at Sheltered Cove.
We had a very smooth transaction in the purchase of our boat. Jack was amazing to deal with. Great experience!
Excellent service and professionalism, the experience felt more like family then a business deal.
Bought a boat at the AC Boat Show. All the way through the process everyone at Sheltered Cove was friendly and helpful. They made the entire experience a breeze. Dave, our orientation specialist, did a great job walking us through everything and taking us out for our initial run. After our orientation, our new boat was promptly delivered to our marina. We were able to get out on it 2x in the first 4 days and love our decision so far. I would recommend Sheltered Cove and they’re boats to anyone shopping along the Jersey coast.
Five Stars All the Way! This is my second pontoon boat purchased from Sheltered Cove, and once again, they exceeded all my expectations. Their entire team is consistently outstanding — from the first conversation, to boat orientation to the final delivery, everything was smooth and professional. The whole staff is always ready to help, incredibly friendly, and welcoming. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and highly recommend Sheltered Cove to anyone looking for premium brand boats and service!
I bought my boat here and they’ve taken good care of me storing it in the winter and maintaining it.
Great customer service. Everything went as planned with the purchase of my new barletta tritoon. Thanks.
Whole team at Sheltered Cove Marina is great. Especially Joe C who came up with a great design for our new boat name
Great service. Great personalities. The staff is professional and thorough, ensuring my boat and jetski are prepped for the off-season and they drive them right to my dock for the summer. Been a customer here for over 15 years and many more to come.
I’ve dealt with Sheltered Cove for many years serving my original boat and then selling me a 2018 Regal 2800 and now I’m excited to get my new LX9 this week!
Pleasure working with the staff at Sheltered Cove, the sale went very smooth and on schedule. Ken, Joe and Helene - Thank You!
Have purchased twice from Mark at Sheltered Cove. Smooth experiences both times. Looking forward to my new purchase soon! Highly recommend Sheltered Cove.
I have purchased 3 boats from sheltered cove marina over the past 12 years. Two new, and one used. (they also handled the sale of the trade ins) I also moored my boat at the marina (again the 1st boat) for over 5 years. I have owned other boats, and stayed at several different marinas. Sheltered Cove is an excellent location for being inside, and also decent access to ocean (about 15 min. run) The marina is family owned and operated. I was always treated fair and honestly. It is expensive to own a boat, (why my current boat is on a trailer) but with the internet, the price is the price. If you are buying a boat, (or selling) they will handle the whole deal. I will use them again.
we are very greatful for all of the service we received with the entire delivery process everyone was terrific including Chris’s customer service what a well oiled machine you have please let Ken,Nick, Sean and Chris know how thankful we both are.
Great experience since purchasing our boat. Customer service and warranty (Angie, Dan, Joe) are excellent.
Work was done on time and at a great price. The detail that Sheltered Cove did was AMAZING. My light blue hull was actually dark blue. Absolutely amazing work. The bottom paint was neat and straight. I can't say enough about Sheltered Cove.
Very friendly, clean restrooms overall appearance of the property is very impressive
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very responsive and informative to questions and queries.
Just took delivery of this new 2023 Barletta. Sheltered Cove was great to work with. The friendliest and nicest staff and sales personnel. They even gave us an orientation on all the workings of this boat and then delivered the boat to us about 50 miles south of them immediately following the orientation. I highly recommend them for your next boat purchase. .
We had an incredible experience purchasing our pontoon boat at the Atlantic City boat show, all thanks to Mark and Ken! From the moment we arrived, they greeted us warmly and patiently guided us through the entire process. Their knowledge about the boats was impressive, and they were able to answer all of our questions without hesitation. What really stood out was their dedication to finding us the best price possible. Thanks to their expertise and professionalism, we walked away with our dream boat at an amazing deal. If you're in the market for a boat, look no further than Mark and Ken—they truly go above and beyond for their customers!
I have struggled to find the right people to help me with my boat. Joe and Dan + team have been a godsend! They not only have helped me but have been polite, professional and go above and beyond to give great customer service. I can't recommend them enough.
Great experience with Ken Sauer and the team at Sheltered Cove in a recent boat purchase. Team was very helpful, transparent and reasonable in addressing ‘punch list’ items and arranging delivery. Thank you and looking forward to enjoying our new boat!
This is my first experience with Sheltered Cove Marina. From initial negotiations with Mark at the AC boat show to working with Ken throughout my boat delivery process, it has been overwhelmingly positive. It's clear that Sheltered Cove cares about making long lasting customer relationships. Ken acted promptly for all "issues" that may have occurred during the process and made sure I was satisfied with the resolution. I would definitely recommend them to others and took a bunch of Ken's business cards so I can hand them out at the sandbars. If we ever encounter any warranty issues in the future I have high expectations for how those will be handled.
First time boat owner. Couldn't have picked a better Marina. Very personal service and attention. Great staff all around.
Purchase & Delivery of our Barletta boat was perfect with everything at SCM. Special thanks to Ken, Chris & Dave. We recommend SCM and it was a pleasure dealing with them. See you on the Great Bay area.
Mark: I cannot express our gratitude to you and your team during the purchase process of our new Regal. the entire process was a delight, and your team was so professional and caring. Jack, Hellen, Chris and you were the best to work with. I have been around boats for over 50 years and I cannot think of a better experience I've had with a group. Thank you for kicking off our relationship on a very positive note. We look forward to working with you and your team as we enjoy our new boat. Best, Pete & Dawn
Last week I picked up my brand new Sylvan tri-toon boat. I purchased the boat at the Atlantic City boat show this year. Booked my appointment and arrived at the Marina. Met with Dave and he went over all the paperwork and materials for the boat including titles and registration. From there we went out for a full tutorial of the boat and took it out for a run. Boat was clean and fully ready to go. The guys in the yard were awesome. Put the boat on the trailer and got us fully ready to trailer it back home. The Marina gave us a great discount to get some needed supplies for the boat. Looking forward to a great boating season and being a long term customer of Shelter Cove
Bought a new boat from Sheltered Cove at the Atlantic City boat show last year and the entire experience went so so well, from the salesman to the entire staff assisting at the marina. Highly recommend them!! Thank you to Dave for walking us through the process!! Looking forward to using out new boat :-) :-)
We can’t say enough praise for the staff and services here! Love them all!!!
