Regal 26 XO Video Review
With the 26 XO, Regal wanted to provide boaters with the option of outboard power on its 26′ Express cruiser. While very similar to its 26′ sterndrive model, the 26 XO has more stowage capacity because of the absence of the inboard engine, which provides this boat with more functionality. With its versatile seating and sleeping space for four in the cabin, this boat was designed for a good time, whether you are looking to go out for a boat ride and enjoy the scenery or if you want to participate in some towing water sports.
26′ Outboard Express Cruiser with plenty of features
A large, easy-to-maneuver swim platform allows you to walk from side to side and get in and out of the water with ease with a swim ladder and handles to help grab a hold of. The lack of side decks allows for a wide-body cockpit space which boasts large, comfortable seats and a beautiful helm with tilt steering wheel and doublewide seat.
The below-deck cabin has 6′ headroom, v-birth dinette, and memory-foam mattress with 30″ of space between the mattress and overhead. The cabin also contains a galley with microwave, single-burner stove, sink, and refrigerator in the base of the counter. The wet head has a toilet, sink in a cabinet, and a dedicated overhead showerhead, which is rare in a boat of this size. An optional flatscreen tv can be affixed to the cabin bulkhead.
Powered by a 300-hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboard, this 26′ Express Cruiser can move with the best of them. This boat is great for a small family on a budget that enjoys time out on the open water and/or water sports. With a reverse cycle A/C system and hot water heat, the Regal 26 OX can be comfortable in three seasons here in New Jersey!
