Are you looking for a boat brand run by boaters who know what you want when you’re on the water? Then Starcraft is the brand for you! Starcraft’s deckboats combine design, performance, safety, and attention to detail. Their deckboats give your family more room to play, more reasons to stay out late, and more days you’ll never want to end. This blog will cover 10 reasons your next boat should be a Starcraft deckboat.
Why Should I Buy A Starcraft Deckboat?
A Heritage You Can Trust
Starcraft is a family-owned and operated company, run by the same founding family that started the company 129 years ago. Rather than being a brand that frequently changes hands to increase profit, Starcraft has always been committed to its customers and building a quality product. This is why they are the #1 selling brand of deckboats in the country.
Contemporary Design
Starcraft deckboats tout bold styling with functional layouts. The SVX series takes design cues from the tow boat market. Starcraft merges luxury comfort with aggressive performance geometry to give their boats a sleek look.
The Best Value on the Water
Starcraft offers the most standard features in the Deckboat category, such as bimini tops, custom SeaDek mats, bolster helm seat, stainless steel cleats, stainless steel bow rails, Bluetooth stereos, gelcoat-colored hulls (not decals), and 5-step bow and stern stainless steel ladders.
Beam Forward Design
Every model features a full 8.5” beam that carries forward in the bow. This gives space back to you for more usable interior space for seating and storage. This design gives you space for what you actually want on the water.
Seating Capacity
The Starcraft SVX series has the greatest seating capacity in the industry. Most of their deckboats can accommodate between 10 and 14 passengers. Giving you the option to host your whole crew out on the water.
High Performance
The SVX modified dihedral Pad V hull provides a more efficient running surface that allows it to achieve greater speeds with less horsepower and a better time to plane than other deckboat brands.
Interior Design
Performance isn’t the only focus when it comes to Starcraft deckboats. Interior details are just as important. The entire SVX series features deep cockpits with full upholstery packs with full height backrests so that your experience on the water is comfortable and luxurious.
Attention To Detail
No detail is too small for Starcraft to overlook. On their hatch lids, the hinges are stainless steel and through-bolted for longevity. The lid gaskets keep water out of compartments that you don’t want water getting into.
Safety Features
All Starcraft boats are NMMA certified, which is the highest level of certification in the industry. Hulls are injection foamed for maximum flotation and safety. The SVX boats feature greater freeboard with standard stainless steel bow rails and grab handles for maximum security.
Warranty & Protection
Starcraft offers the best warranty in the business. They offer a limited lifetime warranty on hull and structure and a 6-year warranty on all components, flooring, and upholstery that is transferable to a second owner with parts and labor included.
