Regal Boats continues to innovate and their LS6 is no different: a luxury-minded bowrider that offers fantastic watersport capabilities, powered by a Volvo Penta V8-350. This boat boats many distinguishing features including:
- Forward Drive: Volvo Penta’s forward-facing DuoProps on the lower unit of a sterndrive. This mean that the props are 26″ further away from the wakesurfer/waterskier and there is a lower unit housing between the person and the props, making this an incredibly safe design for tow-behind fun.
- FASTRAC Hull Design: Regal’s FasTrac Hull Design increases the top speed and fuel efficiency while in “sportboat” mode. The FASTRAC Hull has been duplicated by many manufacturers for a very specific reason: FasTrac differs is in its retention of a mild V-shape in the aft in turns while avoiding the “coming loose” feel of some stepped hulls
- PowerTower: The watersports tower folds down with the push of a button, but what sets it apart from others is that it does so in a position that lets the captain still drive the boat.
- Four Forward-Facing Helm Seats: Double-wide seats with bolsters are placed at the helm and on the port side, something that is unusual in this type of tow boat.
The LS6 is a luxury model that is evident the moment you enter the cockpit: seats backs feature large chrome grab rails to offer stability and security while underway, lumbar supports, and the Twin Volvo Penta touchscreen displays highlight a clean minimalist dash.
Not to be outdone by the bells and whistles, Regal made sure to make this boat feel more luxurious by creating for space and storage. With this new model, Regal has created 11% more seating space with a 6″ wider interior and 31% more storage space than previous models.
